Brady Smith Solid in
WOOLMS Action North of the Border!
(SOLON SPRINGS, WISCONSIN) The Brady Smith Racing team trekked
north of the border over the weekend to enter a trio of World
of Outlaws Late Model Series shows in Canada. The Ohsweken Speedway
(June 18), Autodrome Drummond (June 20), and Cornwall Motor
Speedway (June 21) were all slated to host $10,000 to win WOOLMS
events over the weekend. However, Autodrome Drummond was forced
to cancel their race on Saturday due to persistent rain showers.
In the weekend opener at Ohsweken on Thursday, Brady Smith
qualified seventeenth fastest in time trials and later ran third
in his stacked heat race. After starting ninth on the grid in
the A-Main, Brady helped put on a great show at Ohsweken. The
Solon Springs, Wisconsin native drove past seven cars in the
feature on his way to a close runner-up finish behind winner
Josh Richards.
On Sunday, the Cornwall Motor Speedway played host to the final
Canadian race of the Great Northern Tour and another $10,000
top prize was up for grabs. Brady laid down the thirteenth quickest
lap during qualifying and finished sixth in heat race action.
The driver known as the "Prodigy" was once again on
the move in the main event, as he blew past nine competitors
en route to a seventh place performance. Brady currently finds
himself seventh in the latest version of the WOOLMS point battle
following Cornwall last night. You can view complete results

Brady and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series now returns
to the United States for six more evenings of non-stop Great
Northern Tour action beginning tonight June 22 at the Can-Am
Motorsports Park in LaFargeville, New York. The ultra-busy week
continues on June 23 at the Canandaigua (NY) Speedway; June
24 at the Big Diamond (PA) Raceway; and June 25-27 at the Lernerville
(PA) Speedway (the postponed $10,000 to win 'Showdown in Sarvertown'
on June 25 and the $30,000 to win 'Firecracker 100' on June
26-27).
