Scores Runner-Up 'Bad Boy 98' Finish at Batesville!
(May
19, 2013) Brady Smith Racing ventured south to the
Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas on May 17-18
for the 2nd Annual 'Bad Boy 98.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series presided over the action at BMS and a hefty $20,000 top
prize was on the line. In preliminary competition on Friday
night, Brady Smith timed in eighth quickest in Group A during
qualifying and later finished second in his heat race behind
only prelim victor Steve Francis.
When things really heated up at Batesville on
Saturday evening, Brady started the 98-lap main event from the
inside of the fourth row. The Solon Springs, Wisconsin star
then mounted a strong charge throughout the 'Bad Boy 98,' as
he moved all the way up to the second spot. When the checkers
fell over the talented field, Brady found himself trailing only

Smith Spectacular in 'Spring Shootout' Victory at LaSalle!
(May
12, 2013) Brady Smith, of Solon Springs, Wisconsin,
returned to Dirt Late Model competition on May 10-11 at the
LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois. The Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series rolled into the 1/4-mile bullring to sanction a
pair of $10,000 to win clashes. Following a rain-out at LaSalle
on Friday night, Saturday's program went off without a hitch.
Brady, who has set out the better part of three
months after undergoing knee surgery, returned to action in
a big way on Saturday, as he recorded his second career LOLMDS
victory! After laying down the third quickest lap in Group A
during the time trial session, Brady took the win in his loaded
heat race to earn the pole position for the 50-lap 'Spring Shootout.'
The driver known as the "Prodigy" ran second through
the early and middle stages of the race, but was able to get
by leader Jimmy Mars to grab the point on lap 38. Brady then
led the remainder of the distance to score the $10,000 triumph
over Mars, John Blankenship, Chris Simpson, and Don O'Neal.

Nationals' Results from Volusia Speedway Park
(February
23, 2013) The annual 'UNOH DIRTcar Nationals' wrapped
up tonight at Volusia Speedway Park with another $10,000 to
win World of Outlaws Late Model Series extravaganza. Brady Smith
posted the eleventh quickest lap in Group B during the qualifying
session and later finished second in heat race action. After
drawing the eighth starting spot prior to the start of the 50-lapper,
Brady concluded his '13 DCN with a solid eighth place run.
(February 22, 2013) Night five
of the 'UNOH DIRTcar Nationals' took place tonight at VSP and
the World of Outlaws Late Model Series battle boasted yet another
$10,000 paycheck. Brady Smith laid down the fifth fastest lap
in Group A during WOOLMS qualifying and later grabbed the fourth
and final transfer spot in his heat race. After starting the
50-lap main event from the inside of the seventh row, Brady
was able to move up a few spots to finish the race in the tenth
position.
(February 21, 2013) The World
of Outlaws Late Model Series rolled into the Volusia Speedway
Park tonight for round four of the 'UNOH DIRTcar Nationals.'
Brady Smith qualified twelfth quickest in Group A during the
time trial session and later placed fifth in his stacked heat
race. Following a triumph in his B-Main, Brady started the $10,000
to win feature event from the inside of the ninth row. The Solon
Springs, Wisconsin ace was then able to pick off six competitors
during the 50-lapper on his way to a steady eleventh place finish.
(February 20, 2013) A $10,000
winner's check was on the line tonight in the final UMP DIRTcar
Series program of the 2013 'UNOH DIRTcar Nationals' at VSP.
Brady Smith timed in sixth fastest in his group during the qualifying
session and later grabbed the third and final transfer spot
through his heat race. After starting the 40-lapper from the
inside of the eighth row, Brady brought out a lap twelve caution
and retired in the eighteenth position.
(February 19, 2013) Round two
of the 'UNOH DIRTcar Nationals' took place tonight at Volusia
and another $7,000 top prize was up for grabs. Brady Smith laid
down the second quickest lap in his group during the UMP DIRTcar
Series qualifying session and later placed fourth in his loaded
heat race. After finishing second in his B-Main to transfer
into the 30-lapper, Brady rolled past sixteen competitors in
the feature event to score his second straight seventh place
performance.

Racing opened up the six-race 'UNOH DIRTcar Nationals' tonight
at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. Brady
Smith started his night by posting the fifth fastest lap in
his group during UMP DIRTcar Series qualifying. After running
fourth in his heat race and winning his B-Main, Brady rolled
off starting from the outside of the tenth row in the $7,000
to win feature. The Solon Springs, Wisconsin native then blew
past thirteen competitors during the 30-lapper en route to a
strong seventh place effort.

Nationals' Results from Bubba Raceway Park
(February
17, 2013) The three-race 'Bubba Army Late Model Winter
Nationals' wrapped up today at BRP with a $20,000 to win Super
Sunday Showdown. Brady Smith qualified thirty-third quickest
in WOOLMS time trials and later moved up to finish fifth in
his heat race. Following a triumph in his B-Main, Brady started
the 75-lap feature event from the inside of the ninth row. The
Solon Springs, Wisconsin ace then moved past eight competitors
in the A-Main to score a steady ninth place finish.
(February 16, 2013) Night two
of the 'Bubba Army Late Model Winter Nationals' took place tonight
at the Bubba Raceway Park and a $10,000 top prize was on the
line. Brady Smith laid down the fourth fastest lap during WOOLMS
qualifying and later placed third in his stacked heat race.
After rolling off from the outside of the sixth row in the 50-lap
main event, Brady was able to work his way past five competitors
on his way to a solid seventh place performance.

Smith Racing team kicked off their 2013 campaign tonight in
the 'Bubba Army Late Model Winter Nationals' opener at the Bubba
Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida. Brady Smith timed in eighth
quickest in World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying and
later took the win in his loaded heat race. After drawing the
eighth starting spot prior to the $7,000 to win feature event,
Brady ran as high as fifth in the 35-lapper before settling
for a tenth place effort at BRP.

Smith Braces for Speedweeks Showdowns in Florida!!!
(February 7, 2013) Fresh off an eight-win season
in 2012, Brady Smith and his #2 team are about ready to strike
out on their first racing trip of the 2013 racing season! They
will make the long trek to the Sunshine State of Florida for
nine scheduled "Speedweeks 2013" showdowns at two
different venues. Those nine high-profile races will be held
in consecutive days from February 15-23.
Up first for the Brady Smith Racing team will be a visit to
the Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida for the 'Bubba Army
Late Model Winter Nationals.' The three-day extravaganza at
BRP from February 15-17 will be sanctioned by the World of Outlaws
Late Model Series. Following a $7,000 to win opener on Friday,
the pay scale will escalate to $10,000 to win on Saturday, while
Sunday's big finale at the odd-shaped oval boasts a hefty $20,000
payday.
With no rest for the weary, Brady will then immediately turn
his focus to the Dirt Late Model portion of the 'UNOH DIRTcar
Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment' at the renowned
Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida from February
18-23. Both the UMP DIRTcar Series and World of Outlaws Late
Model Series will split the sanctioning duties at the 1/2-mile
Daytona Beach area speedplant. First place prizes throughout
