Seventh in WOOLMS Points Following Canadian Swing!
The
Brady Smith Racing team trekked north of the border over the
weekend to enter a trio of World of Outlaws Late Model Series
shows in Canada. The Ohsweken Speedway (June 18), Autodrome
Drummond (June 20), and Cornwall Motor Speedway (June 21) were
all slated to host $10,000 to win WOOLMS events over the weekend.
However, Autodrome Drummond was forced to cancel their race
on Saturday due to persistent rain showers.
In the weekend opener at Ohsweken on Thursday, Brady Smith
qualified seventeenth fastest in time trials and later ran third
in his stacked heat race. After starting ninth on the grid in
the A-Main, Brady helped put on a great show at Ohsweken. The
Solon Springs, Wisconsin native drove past seven cars in the
feature on his way to a close runner-up finish behind winner
Josh Richards.
On Sunday, the Cornwall Motor Speedway played host to the final
Canadian race of the Great Northern Tour and another $10,000
top prize was up for grabs. Brady laid down the thirteenth quickest
lap during qualifying and finished sixth in heat race action.
The driver known as the "Prodigy" was once again on
the move in the main event, as he blew past nine competitors
en route to a seventh place performance. Brady currently finds
himself seventh in the latest version of the WOOLMS point battle
following Cornwall last night. You can view complete results

Team Competes in 'Dream 100' at Eldora...
The
Brady Smith Racing team made their yearly journey to the famed
Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Friday and Saturday, June
5-6 for the 15th Annual 'Dream 100.' The crown jewel spectacular
once again paid a whopping $100,000 to the winner. Brady Smith
qualified eighteenth fastest in time trials on Friday night
and had high hopes heading into his competitive heat race on
Saturday evening. Unfortunately, Brady got shuffled back at
the start of his heat race and later suffered an untimely spin.
He rebounded to finish tenth in his heat race, but his eighth
place C-Main performance put an abrupt end to his 2009 'Dream
100' experience. You can view complete results from the "Big
